There are so many bag launches every year I end up forgetting about some amazing bags! So here I’ll show you 10 bags I forgot about but are worth remembering.
So, without further ado here are 10 Designer Bags I Have Forgotten About:
1. Hermès Geta
The Geta looks like a more casual and more approachable version of the Hermès Constance. Elegantly resting on its H-shaped clasp, the Hermès Geta is named after the Japanese wooden platform sandals which inspired the bag. This perfectly symmetrical messenger bag, built like a small box, fastens with a simple gesture and a soft click. The highlight of its construction is the signature clasp, forming both a pedestal that replaces the base studs and a mechanism to adjust the shoulder strap, which wraps around the bag. It has an adjustable canvas shoulder strap, one main compartment and two interior pockets.
This bag is casual, practical and an everyday staple!
2. Bottega Veneta Cabat Tote
One of Bottega Veneta‘s most iconic handbags, The Cabat was first designed by Creative Director Tomas Maier when he first joined the House in 2001. The supple and collapsible rectangular intrecciato tote made its debut in the Spring/Summer 2002 collection. The Cabat is completely unlined, woven by hand from strips of double-faced leather, and the finished product is completely seamless. What this means is the inside of the bag is just as beautiful as the outside.
This classic Bottega Veneta style was reintroduced by creative director Matthieu Blazy, who is bringing back classic styles of the brand.
3. Dior Bobby Bag
Named after Christian Dior’s beloved pet, the Dior Bobby bag is Maria Grazia Chiuri’s celebration of the notion of loyalty. The bag is supposed to be a loyal companion to the modern woman thanks to its enduring style and craftsmanship. One of the newer additions to the House’s collection the Bobby was launched in the fall 2020 collection. Its signature details include a structured silhouette, flap closure, military-inspired buckle, adjustable shoulder straps and a ‘CD’ signature at the front. The shoulder straps can be removed and replaced with seasonal ones to bring a personalized element to each bag. The unique design embodies the House’s marriage of heritage and contemporary essence.

4. Giorgio Armani La Prima Bag
In 1995, Giorgio Armani designed his very first bag, with a timeless design this is the newest iteration of the style! Placed at the crossroads between functional and fashionable, this new creation with its rounded lines was inspired by the classic suit. Made in Italian leather, this classic bag was relaunched in 2019, with the same elegant style first designed 27 years ago. The bag is a testament to Giorgio Armani’s incredible know-how, the La Prima bag is made from leather panels that are hand-assembled. Launched on February 22 and first presented at the Fendi spring/summer 22 show this is a more is more kind of bag. The half-moon shape and bold gold logo at the bottom make for an instantly recognizable style. The bag is supposed to be worn under the arm in a way that the Fendi leathering is visible. It can also be worn cross-body thanks to the adjustable, detachable handle and the hooks that allow a strap to be attached. It comes in medium, small and nano sizes, though the nano is more of an accessory.
This bag really makes a statement, it is super stylish!
9. Gucci Attache Bag
Launched in July 2022, the Gucci Attache Bag is worth taking a look at! A reprisal of the style from 1975, the Gucci Attache handbag takes on a diverse, sophisticated silhouette thanks to its soft construction and G-shaped clasp. The Gucci Attache further connects the past and present as Alessandro Michele continues to set in motion storylines from the House archives. 10. Prada Re-Edition 1995
Originally launched in 1995 and then relaunched in 2022, this bag will always be chic! Prada is known for reinventing classic styles and this bag is worth remembering. This handbag, a re-edition of an iconic Prada bag of 1995, was first presented in Prada’s spring/summer 22 collection and is characterized by its elegant geometric silhouette with distinct, minimalist lines. Formal allure and practicality meet in its design with a central zipper closure and three internal compartments, enhanced by the sophisticated accent of the silver screen-printed lettering logo. The accessory is made of fine brushed leather, an expression of the brand’s expertise.
